OVERVIEW
American Coin Toss is a new kind of coin flipping application; it combines State Quarters, Flags and Trivia in one place. There are four themes to choose from, Black, Patriotic, State, and Random, and the game also keeps track of your coin flipping statistics as you play.

STATE QUARTERS
Launched in 1999, the United States Mints 50 State Quarters Program was a 10-year initiative that honored each of the nations states in the order that they ratified the Constitution or were admitted into the Union. Each quarter was produced for about 10 weeks and will never be produced again. State designs are displayed on the reverse (tails) of the quarters, while the obverse design displays the familiar image of George Washington. But, to accommodate state designs on the reverse, the words "United States of America," "Quarter Dollar," "Liberty," and "In God We Trust" all appear on the obverse. FLAGS
When using the State or Random them the background image is set to the official State Flag.

TRIVIA
For each State there is a small database of trivia which can be viewed, items include;
- Capital
- Flower
- Tree
- Bird
- Animal
- Gemstone
- Colors
- Song
- Nickname
- Fossil
- Name Origin
- Motto

SCORING
American Coin Toss keeps track of your coin flipping statistics for you. The Score Panel includes the following;
- Wins
- Losses
- Total Flips
- Number of Times Heads has been flipped
- Number of Times Tails has been flipped
- Percentage of Times Heads has been flipped
- Percentage of Times Heads has been flipped


THEMES
- Black Theme sets the background to a plain black.
- Patriotic Theme displays the American Flag as a backdrop
- State Theme will show the selected state’s flag. All 50 States are available.
- Random Theme will show a different state flag and coin for each coin toss.

DISPLAY
There are many different ways to display the game. Besides the various themes you can customize the display of the Trivia and Score drawers, change the transparency and choose to hide or display the coins.
